Before beginning a career as a financial executive, Reid Hackney attended Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting. As a PSU alumnus, Reid Hackney is a fan of the Nittany Lions college football team.

A member of the NCAA’s Big Ten Football Conference, the Nittany Lions of Penn State have developed a loyal following and reward their fans with exciting and often successful games. Their home field is Beaver Stadium, which seats more than 106,000 people and was renovated in 2001 to provide better facilities and add 60 enclosed skyboxes.

The Nittany Lions have created several opportunities for fans to get to know the team, including the Cub Club. The Penn State Cub Club gives kids up to the eighth grade the chance to experience Nittany Lion tradition, not just with the football team, but with PSU’s basketball, baseball, and ice hockey teams, among others. Membership benefits in the club include free admission to some sporting events, invitations to special events and a monthly athletics newsletter to keep up-to-date with Nittany Lion sports happenings.
